OUR FOUNDER

Louis DiRaimondo started All American Hot Dog in 1972 after working for several years as a Hot Dog Vendor in South Florida.  Mr. DiRaimondo began to realize that increasing equipment costs were beginning to make it impossible for newcomers to break into the vending business.  He was determined that you could sell a quality cart at an affordable price that would allow his customers to realize their earning potential in the vending cart business.  To this day,  Mr. DiRaimondo still believes in the dream most of us have of owning our own business and making a good living.  He wants to make it possible for anyone to be able to afford that dream and become their own boss today!

You're like a shining star
 In the cold dark night

You lead me, you guide me
You make everything seem right!

Your loss has left our hearts to cry.
You never meant to say
"Goodbye".

Save a place in Heaven's light
Our Angel George

 Our star so bright!
Love Forever!

Your Brother, Louis

EULOGY

On behalf of the family, they want to thank all of the aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that have been there during these difficult times. Throughout George's illness, both for your prayers and support. We especially appreciate Uncle Charlie, Aunt Pia, Zina, and Flora for being at George's bedside the last days of his life, and to those who weren't there, we appreciate the many phone calls throughout the last days.
Stacy wanted me to share with you all that her beloved husband George was the love of her life, her best friend and soul mate. He was a wonderful, wonderful husband, and a very loving and devoted father to all his children - Michelle, Christine, George Jr. and Victoria. His children were his life. Stacy could always depend on George. He was the true force behind the family. He never judged anyone. She could always depend on him.
George always looked out for the well being of his mother, who he dearly loved and adored. George was always there for his brother Louie. Whenever Louie had a situation, he would call George to seek his opinion, not only was George a brother to Louie, he was his best friend and advisor.
Let us share some things about George with you: He was a great guy who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was overly generous, at times to a fault, but you couldn't tell him otherwise because that was George.
He was always happy, always smiling, never depressed. No matter what kind of situation he got himself into, he stayed positive and wouldn't let things affect him. Even during his illness, he remained optimistic. He really believed he could beat the illness. He never gave up, that was George.
He enjoyed family gatherings, parties, music, and cooking. Boy could he cook. His dinners were like a banquet feast. George loved all children and all children loved him.
We believe that George's mission in life was to please others before himself. When he saw his family happy, that made him happy. He was a bright person and had a successful business career.
His legacy will live on in our hearts, our prayers and in his children.
Although he is no longer physically in our presence, he will always be remembered. We are certain that he is amongst the angels in heaven and with our almighty father.
The family would like to thank everyone for coming today, to support them in their time of deep sorrow.

............................................................................................................................

On a personal note, I would like to say my boys and I always enjoyed getting together with George, Stacy and the kids. We always had a great time. My boys had a great relationship with George. We loved getting together every 4th of July. My kids would tell the whole neighborhood "My cousin George and his family are coming from West Palm Beach and we're going to have a great fireworks show". As we did each and every year, thanks to George and Stacy.
When we'd visit, never would we leave empty handed. George would pack a box of food for us to take. It didn't matter if I said "George that's way too much, stop already". He' say "It's not a lot, give it to the kids..." Whenever I called him to see how he was doing, in spite of his pain, he'd always ask me how I was doing and asked if I was okay, and always asked me how my boys were doing.
Yes he was our cousin, but he was more than that, he was our friend. We will always love him. If anyone would like to say a few words at this time, please come up.
"Afterwards, the family invites you to have a bite to eat in the other room; as George would say: "Ok, Let's eat".
